Cookies

Last updated: 9 August 2026

This notice describes technologies actually used by the current nodo.house codebase. If we add non-essential tracking later, this page and any consent UI will be updated before those tools load.

Summary

Today, nodo.house does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social-media pixels through first-party application code.

What we use now

  • sessionStorage — a short-lived key (`nodo:offmenu-enter`) to coordinate the OFF MENU entrance transition. It is not used for advertising and does not store your email.
  • In-memory events — a temporary browser buffer (`window.__NODO_EVENTS__`) for product events such as “table viewed”. It is not sent to a third-party analytics vendor today and does not include email or allergy text.
  • Hosting / security — our host (Vercel) may set strictly necessary cookies for delivery or protection. Classification of host cookies: [TODO LEGAL / ops].

What we do not use (currently)

  • Google Analytics / gtag
  • Meta / TikTok / advertising pixels
  • Session replay
  • Third-party marketing tags in the app bundle

Forms

When you submit a form, your information is sent to our form provider (Formspree) for the purpose you requested. That is not a cookie; see Privacy.

If we add non-essential tracking

Non-essential cookies or similar technologies that require consent will not load until the appropriate choice is made. Necessary technologies may continue to operate.
